This Privacy Policy explains how the Tidewrangler website (tidewrangler.app) and the Tidewrangler mobile game handle information. In short: we run no servers and collect no personal data ourselves. The game is ad-supported, and our advertising provider may collect limited device data to show ads — details below.

The game

  • Your best scores and settings are stored locally on your device only. There are no accounts and no game servers.
  • The game is free and ad-supported. Ads are served by a third-party advertising provider, which may collect a device advertising identifier and similar data to deliver ads, in line with its own privacy policy and your device’s ad settings.
  • You can remove ads with an optional subscription (weekly or annual) or a one-time purchase. Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.
  • Aside from advertising, the game uses no other analytics or tracking, keeps your scores and settings on your device, and stays playable offline (ads simply won’t load without a connection).

This website

  • The site is static and sets no marketing or advertising cookies. We run no analytics by default.
  • Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, to serve the site securely — this is common to all web hosting.
  • We do not operate a newsletter or waiting list, so we do not collect your email address here.

Children

Tidewrangler is designed to be suitable for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the game is ad-supported, families who prefer a completely ad-free experience can use the optional ad-removal purchase.

Your rights
